John Knights is a project, management and development consultant working in the voluntary and public sectors. A registered architect, he worked in the European Parliament for eight years and has extensive knowledge of European funding programmes. In the UK he was at the forefront of the community architecture movement and the developmnt of advisory services for the third sector. He is Company Secretary of DPA and Secretary of a grant making trust in London.

Peter Mount, Development Director, QUAD, Derby

Peter is the Development Director for QUAD, Derby, where he is working directly to the QUAD Board and Derby City Council leading and coordinating all the activities involved in delivering the City's new iconic arts building. Other assignments for DPA include the earlier work in Derby of its arts capital strategy and the reviews of the Guildhall and Assembly Rooms. Trained as an electrical engineer, he ran an extensive community arts and media studio and programme for Inter-Action, before becoming its General Manager.
